Fabulous. This is seemingly more expensive, but since it keeps us at home instead pf eating out it is well worth it.
The BEST - What else is there to say! We bought our daughter a Disney Mickey mini-waffle maker for Christmas. The Internet pointed us to Golden Malted for that original taste. Needless to say, we purchased the Premuim Classic Canister 2-pack and have been enjoying that wonderful flavor ever since. No substitutes for our waffles, we will always be using Golden Malted mix. I bought the waffle/pancake mix for our grandson for Christmas to go with his new Mickey waffle iron we bought. He says they taste just like the waffles at Chef Mickey’s in Disney. Very happy 😊
I love this mix! We had these in several hotels we stayed in and then discovered that I could order it for home use! I have never tasted a better waffle. The malt is what makes these waffles unique and so delicious! Order several, you won’t regret it! If you only order 1, you may run out before you can get a second package!
For over 40 years I haqve tried to make waffles like the waffles I get in resturants.At first, I thought that the waffle maker was the key in making good waffles, NO its not!Then I searched for waffle recipies on line. Many of the recipies were rated with great grandure. Yet they ALL result in limp, white waffles.Then I was in a bad situation at my daughters house far away from my home and I stayed at a nearby hotel for the night. The next morning the continental breakfast included “Make your own Waffles” where they had the mix ready to use. The waffles were fantastic!I asked the lady overseeing the kitchen what in the world the mix was from. Her answere :“Carbons Malted” !!!!!!!I have been buying Carbons Malted now for many years and I allways get the most perfect, golden brown, perfect texture waffles ever (no mattert what kind of waffle iron used)How in the world can you go wrong with someone who has been perfecting their recipe for over 100 years???
